Pastoral Spotlight, Episode 8

Dear Billy’s Home Place Team,

Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality in making this special place available to us for resting and seeking the Lord. My wife and I have felt like the world is a beautiful place as we stayed here, and for several days it seemed to us as the world ought to be, peaceful, glorious, amazing. Perhaps this was felt more so because our eyes were opened during our stay here.

Our souls were refreshed and restored as we sat around the fire each morning and read, prayed, and sang. As we sought to keep the fire burning we experienced spiritual fervor being rekindled in our hearts. As we reflected upon the inspiring life of Billy Graham and the Godly family heritage, we were stirred to pursue Kingdom-focused life - keeping eternity in view.

We had fun, laughed, hiked, played pickle ball, kayaked, took naps, rode bikes, explored the town and told a few people about Jesus. One precious young lady named Jacklyn we met in Asheville tonight, broke into tears as we spoke to her about the love of Jesus. She is searching and was undecided in her beliefs about Jesus. We recommended her to a wonderful church we visited last Sunday (Steadfast Church). We walked away from that time longing to be used by the Lord more.

I will never be the same and I believe we will see much fruit from the time we spent here in the presence of God. To top off the time we spent here, we visited the Cove for the first time and we didn’t want to leave.

Grateful,

Keith and Kyndall Dollar
