Pastoral Spotlight, Episode 6

Dear Billy’s Home Place Team,

The scriptures say when all is said and done, we shall enter into the rest of the Lord. Thank you for giving us a preview of things to come this week. Both Karen and I were touched with the effects of your care, your preparation, and your kindness. The walks, the quiet evenings, the slowed pace of the week marked a turning point for the both of us.

I especially appreciate Mary Gaye and Freddie, their checks on us and the conversation. Thanks to Eddie for delivering the gift of the Bible and the treasured note from Ruth Graham. Everything has been an encouragement for us, and now we return to Virginia in the strength of the Lord and in the Power of His grace. We return to what I expect to be an active “retirement”.

Thank you for all the help in getting ready to leave one season of ministry for another.
