Pastoral Spotlight: Episode 2

Dear Billy's Home Place Team,

Jill and I have been so humbled to have this opportunity to find refreshment, renewal, discernment, and to recharge. As you can imagine, with 4 Kids, we rarely have the chance to get away. Before we left, we were asked to consider the possibility of entering the process to be considered for a church planting position in the Charlotte Area. We had hoped that the Lord would speak clearly to us this week, and man did He do just that! We even had someone approach us during the conference we attended to give us a “word from the Lord” that verified what Scripture and circumstances had been telling us.

This has truly been one of the most memorable mountain top experiences of our ministry, and we will not soon forget it!

Thank you so much for your prayers and for giving this once in a lifetime experience to those of us in ministry. May God richly bless you!

I thought I would share the Scripture that the Lord has given us for this new opportunity in ministry:
Matthew 9:36 - When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborer’s are few; Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Again, thank you so much for allowing us the privilege to stay at Billy's Home Place. It has forever changed our lives and renewed our spirits.

In Him,

Tim and Jill Hale

P.S. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers. Best. Anniversary. Ever.
